Live Animal Arrival Guarantee – Wildwood Exotic Pets
At Wildwood Exotic Pets, we offer a 100% live arrival guarantee on all our animals. We also guarantee that the sex of the animal will match what was stated at the time of purchase.
However, there are certain conditions that will void the live arrival guarantee:
- The buyer or a household member must be present to sign for the package on the first delivery attempt (FedEx provides a time of delivery stamp).
- A delay in shipping due to carrier mishandling.
- Temperatures at the hub or destination being under 50°F or over 85°F for animals.
- Animals held for pickup at a FedEx location must be picked up by the customer on the same day as arrival. (Photo ID must be provided and match the name used for shipping)
- A delay in shipping resulting in rerouting due to an inaccurate delivery address being entered during checkout.
- Any Live Arrival Guarantee requests must be made within 30 minutes of the package being dropped off by FedEx or within 30 minutes of package pickup at the hub if the Hold For Pickup option was used.
In the unfortunate event that your animal perishes in transit, you must provide a picture of the deceased animal on its back and contact us immediately upon receipt of the package. This must be done within 30 minutes of the delivery time stamp.
The live arrival guarantee applies only to the shipping period and is void once you take possession of the animal.
The live arrival guarantee will only cover the cost of the animal and does not include shipping costs. Shipping costs for replacement animals are the responsibility of the buyer.
Once the animal has been inspected and accepted, its well-being becomes the sole responsibility of the buyer. Wildwood Exotic Pets will not be responsible for any veterinary costs incurred by the buyer or for the maintenance and upkeep of the animal.
